Former Nigeria and Rayo Vallecano goalkeeper, Wilfred Agbonavbare, has reportedly died of cancer.
Agbonovbare, who was 48-years-old, died on Tuesday morning in a Madrid, Spain hospital.
The information on his death was communicated on the website of his former club.
The deceased was a member of the Nigeria squad which won the 1994 African Cup of Nations and was also part of the Super Eagles squad that reached the second round of the USA ’94 World Cup.
