The campaign organisation of APC presidential candidate, Muhammadu Buhari, has reacted to the statement of Ekiti state governor, Ayo Fayose, who claimed that the party’s flag-bearer travelled to the United Kingdom on a medical trip.

According to the campaign organisation, the reports that Buhari is being treated at a hospital in Cavendish Square, W2 London West End, London, are false and fabricated.

The opposition party reacted to Fayose’s allegations through a statement by the spokesperson of the Buhari campaign organisation, Malam Garba Shehu, refuted the assertions that the presidential candidate was in a hospital. He said: “That is Fayose with his death wish for General Buhari. There is nothing like that.”

Garba Shehu stated that Buhari is billed to give a talk at the Royal Institute of International Affairs, Chatham House London.

He added: “We have a Thursday date. We are working on the details. May be it will be ready tomorrow or Monday, otherwise I would have given you the title of the lecture and time.”
