Somewhere along Ahmadu Bello way, in Abuja, a Pro-Jonathan billboard carries a false caption, saying: “Under Goodluck, 86% of the economy is now non oil.”
In the past couple of hours, the claim made in the billboard has generated immense conversation on micro-blogging platform, Twitter.
Twitter users are of the opinion that the claim is far from the reality… and they aren’t all that wrong. Going by what is obtainable at present, statistics reveal that Nigeria gets 95% of its export earnings from oil sector.
