Popular talk show host, Oprah Winfrey has said she does not plan to run for public office.

She said this in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter’s “Awards Chatter” podcast while promoting an HBO drama “The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks.”

“I will never run for public office,” Winfrey said.

“That’s a pretty definitive thing.”

When asked if she thought she could defeat President Donald Trump in 2020, the 63-year-old said, “I don’t know. I don’t know the answer to that.”

“But I’ll never have to know the answer to that, because I will never run for public office.”
