Back in 2010, in his famous campaign speech, President Goodluck Jonathan had Nigerians believe that he had no shoes while growing up.
He stated: “I was not born rich, and in my youth, I never imagined that I would be where I am today, but not once did I ever give up. In my early days in school, I had no shoes, no school bags. I carried my books in my hands but never despaired; no car to take me to school but I never despaired.”
But apparently, he did have shoes at some point, going by a photo of his, from when he was young.
In the picture, Jonathan was pretty suave, had good shoes, and even a horse.
that was a promising young man not a boy of ten or eleven, beside that must be a very memorable day, look at the attire and the stage
Hahaha! Funny
