Pre-election violence has commenced in full swing in Rivers state, as gunmen have reportedly kidnapped one man and beheaded another.
The unidentified gunmen laid siege to Mgbuitanwo, Emohua Local Government Area of Rivers State, on Thursday morning, Vanguard reports.
Emohua is the local government of the Senatorial Candidate of the All Progressives Congress, in the Saturday’s rerun elections, Chief Andrew Uchendu.
The beheaded resident was identified as Mr Ukeoma, a 28-year-old man while the identity of the abducted resident is momentarily unknown.
