Earlier today, word spread that the #SaveMayowa initiative was a scam cooked up by her family members.

YNaija visited the Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH) – where Mayowa was undergoing treatment.

At LUTH, YNaija met with Toyin Aimakhu and Aramide Kasumu of Life Stake Foundation – who alleged that it was a scam. Aimakhu and Kasumu spearheaded the #SaveMayowa campaign.

However Mayowa’s family have refuted the claims of foul play by both Toyin Aimakhu and Aramide Kasumu.
