African parents are surely and truly a peculiar lot. Whether in the motherland or across the Atlantic, their distinctive behaviour set them apart from their western counterparts.
African parents can be annoying, frustrating, high-handed and often quite comical. But underneath all that beats a heart of love (yes, even when they are screaming “I will kill you today”).
