This story makes our hearts bleed. The callousness of NYSC officials can no longer be swept under the carpet. Ifedolapo Oladepo died at the hands of NYSC officials because they refused to take her illness seriously, insisting instead that she was faking it to get out of the compulsory parade. It is our decided opinion that NYSC must pay for this wickedness, particularly because they’ve cultivated a pattern of this sort of behaviour.
Naturally, there’s more where that came from. Read below the story of @Sabirah0 who was sent out of camp at midnight, because an official thought her documents were fake. That could have been another life lost to negligence, wickedness.
