Africa’s biggest youth event, The Future Awards, held yesterday at the Federal Palace hotel, Lagos. The Future Award Africa has been described as the ‘Nobel Prize for Young Africans’, and the ‘most important youth awards’ by Forbes. It is a set of prizes given annually to celebrate and accelerate innovation, creativity and enterprise amongst young Africans aged 18 – 31. It has produced over 150 winners and over 1550 nominees since its first edition in 2006. This is its 11th edition.
We caught the responses from the event. Do see below:

Rookie mistakes?
Really disappointed at the organisation of the Future Awards. Started 2 hours late, for the 11th cycle, too many rookie mistakes.
— Chairman AW (@AffiSupaStar) December 18, 2016
Sorry, but there is no drinking water available at this event. These basics haven't been covered by year 11?
