President Donald Trump reiterated in a tweet Monday that his time away from the White House was not a vacation. The President is currently working from his golf course at Bedminster, New Jersey while the White House is under renovation.
Trump wrote; “Working hard from New Jersey while White House goes through long planned renovation. Going to New York next week for more meetings”.

The West Wing of the White House is currently undergoing renovations that will include new paint and carpeting as well as updates to the heating and air conditioning systems, POLITICO reports.
Trump might feel the need to repeatedly remind Americans that he is working and not vacationing since he loudly called former President Barrack Obama out for playing golf when there were many National issues left unresolved before he became President.
In October 2014, Trump wrote; “Can you believe that, with all of the problems and difficulties facing the U.S., President Obama spent the day playing golf. Worse than Carter”, later that month, he wrote; We pay for Obama’s travel so he can fundraise millions so Democrats can run on lies. Then we pay for his golf”.
According to reports, the Trump team has been tightfisted with disclosing the president’s activities when he travels to his golf clubs, rarely disclosing them, although he is sometimes photographed wearing golf attire, or sometimes playing golf, by other club members.
