10 Must-See Art Exhibitions Before July Ends

This month art lovers are spoiled for choice with several art exhibitions to visit and explore all through the month of July, some of these art exhibitions are; 

  1. Echoes Of Innocence 

Hosted by Alliance Francaise de Lagos, it is a solo exhibition by Emmanuel Idowu and it runs from July 5th-July 26th and entry into the exhibition is free.

  1. Underland 

Hosted by Soto Gallery, this is a group exhibition by Haneefah Adam, Roanna Tella, Chukwuemeogo Okeke and Ashiata Shaibu-Salami and it runs from the 7th of July to the 19th of July. 

  1. The Secret Place

Hosted by KÓ Art Gallery, it is a solo exhibition by Christopher Samuel Idowu, and it is happening on the 17th of July, from 6pm-8pm. 

  1. The Escapist Nature Of Things 

Hosted by Wunika Mukan Gallery, it is a solo exhibition by Timilehin Oludare Osanyintolu and it opens on the 19th of July, from 12pm to 6pm. 

  1. Canvas & Cocktails 

Hosted by NK Art Space, it is an African Abstract and contemporary art exhibition opening on the 19th of July by 2pm. 

  1. Sole To Soul

Hosted by Temple Muse, it is a solo exhibition of sculptures and sketches by Kenny Adewuyi and it started exhibiting in June and runs on until July 22nd. 

  1. Women Of Ife

Hosted by John Randle Centre for Yoruba Culture and History, this is a group exhibition by Ayoola Mudasiru, Jesudara Hinmikaiye, Kanmi Binutu, Adeoti Azeez Afeez, Titilayo Abdulrazaq, Gbenga Ajiboye, Adedoyin Adelani, Olubukola Bolanrinde, Yusuf Riliwan, Muraina Oyelami, Omoyeni Arogunmati, Emmanuel Oyeleke, Adewole Adeniyi and Atanda Quadri Adebayo and it starts on the 19th of July and ends on the 26th of July.

  1. Beyond Words And Time 

Hosted by Thought Pyramid Art Centre, it is the debut solo art exhibition by Yakno Jessica Ene and it goes on from July 13th-July 26th and entry is free.

  1. Of Mind And Myth

Hosted by Rele, it is a duo exhibition by David Otaru and David Ngaji and it runs until August 9th, 2025

  1. Thresholds 

Hosted by Nomadic Art Gallery, it is a group exhibition by Ajayi Oluwashogo, Ambali Omotayo, Azage Enoch, Akinsola Olamilekan, and Jayeola Joshua. It starts from July 26th and runs until August 16th.
