The Nigeria Police Force has hijacked the 2017 budget, according to Senator Danjuma Goje.
Goje, who is the chairman of the Senate Committee on Appropriation raised the alarm at Wednesday’s plenary.
The former Gombe governor said the incident occurred last week when the police raided his home.

He said laptops and documents that had the processed 2017 budget earlier scheduled to be laid on Tuesday were carted away.
The Police Goje’s Asokoro residence, acting on a tip-off by a whistleblower.

The sum of 18milliom naira and about 18 files on his apropratiom committee work. The officials also broke doors they couldn't get keys to.
