Former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar on Friday said the withdrawal of the forgery case against Senate President, Bukola Saraki and his deputy, Ike Ekweremadu by the Federal Government was “a wise and timely move”.
Atiku in a statement released by his Media Office in Abuja on Friday said the move will ensure a cordial relationship between the Executive and Legislature in the interest of the country.
He said the much needed development is only possible with an harmonious relationship between the three tiers of government.
Atiku said the decision was predicted because President Muhammadu Buhari does not like issues that unnecessarily heat up the polity.
He urged the legislative to work closely with the executive to find solutions to the country’s challenges.
