The National Legal Adviser to All Progressives Congress (APC), Muiz Banire, has said he has not been suspended from the party, as it is only the National Executive Committee that has that power.

In a statement on Twitter on Thursday, Banire said that the action of those who are reporting that he has been removed or should be removed is an attempt to “cause unwarranted embarrassment or intimidation” in anticipation that that would lead to his resignation.

He, therefore, asks that such reports be disregarded.
