The Collation Officer assigned to Ondo state has been arrested by the police for allegedly tampering with election result sheets.

The INEC official reportedly tampered with the result sheet after it was submitted to him following the voting process.

According to the State Resident Electoral Commissioner, Olusegyn Agbaje, the man had been taken to the police headquarters for interrogation over an alleged mutilation of collation forms

Agbaje stated that the allegation is currently being investigation by the police.
