Some men of the Nigeria Police in Oyo State have reportedly attacked some protesting students of Ladoke Akintola University of Technology.

The institution has not been on session since June 9 when workers of the university began a strike over non-payment of salaries.

A twitter user, @TaiwoAdekolar has reported that some policemen on Friday attacked students who were protesting the continued closure of the institution.

He also reported that some of the students have been arrested by the police.
