At the ongoing APC presidential primaries in Surulere, Lagos, it was earlier speculated that Kwankwaso was stepping down for Buhari.
But a short while ago, we got confirmation that Kwankwaso is still in the race, while fresh rumours have come up that Rochas and Nda-Isaiah have stepped down for Buhari.
However, a member of the Atiku’s camp, who spoke on the condition of anonymity revealed to YNaija said that opposite is the case. He disclosed that the National leader of the APC, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, has thrown his weight behind Buhari, but regards Atiku is a formidable opponent.
Our source said: “Kwankwaso is the target, he has 400 delegates and they want to confuse him to go with Buhari. TAs of last night, Kwankwaso’s delegates told him they will never vote Buhari, just in case he planned to step down.”
For what it’s worth, we will know the true situation of things when the candidates finally arrive at this venue.
