Suspended Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Babachir Lawal is absent at the hearing of the Senate ad-hoc committee on Mounting Pressure in the North East.

The committee had invited Lawal over allegations of contract fraud against him.

He was expected at the National Assembly at 10am.

The Committee, however, gave him until 12 noon to appear.
